I will be in Dubai on January 16 and again on February 7-9, Singapore January 17-18 and again on January 29-31, the Gold Coast and Brisbane from January 19 to 28 (except January 25-26, when I will be in Sydney), Hanoi from January 31 to February 4 and Melaka from February 5-6. While in Malacca, try some of the Nyonya Baba food, as well as the so-called Portuguese (I understand Papa Joe’s is particularly good, but I think most anywhere in Portuguese Square will do the trick) cuisine. It’s not really Portuguese any more, but still worthwhile checking out if you can stand a bit of chilli in your diet.
