We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

Samizdata quote of the day – can we pay Blair to go away? Hundreds of British girls were raped by grooming gangs while Mr Blair was the prime minister. Of course, this was a more diffuse, less murderous phenomenon than October 7. But it is hard to stomach lectures about what must be done in the face of evil from someone whose government did absolutely nothing. Of course, mistreating innocent people should have been unjustifiable in both cases. But Blair should be the last person to hold forth on “removing threats”.
Anti-Semitism and Islamic extremism are certainly dangerous, but so is Tony Blair, and just as I don’t want to listen to a Wahhabi cleric on Western foreign policy, I don’t want to listen to Blair on Islamism.
Can we pay him to go away? I’ll set up a GoFundMe.

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

With Blair – and the Tories afterwards were the same – we got the worst of both worlds in that we got involved in all these unwise foreign military interventions while having mass immigration, many from these countries we were militarily involved in. In principle it’s possible we could have one and not the other but that doesn’t seem to actually how it works anymore.
I’ll chip but for a Rotherham cab ride to The Tavistock!
I don’t think it was hundreds of girls, more like thousands.
As white Britons head for minority status in their own country before the end of this century, we can see that Blair was the worst leader this country has ever had. Most leaders, however bad they may have been, did at least want to save their country and help it to endure. Blair, we can now see, wanted to change his country for ever.
Hmmm. The Left must end its alliance with Islamism, says Blair. Oh noes!, moans BS. Let’s not antagonize the muzzies, they might rape more white girls? Shut up, Tony? Is that really BS’s message?
Like so many things this is an international agenda.
Just as one finds insane “Net Zero” policies even in Jersey and Guernsey – so one finds tolerance of Islamic attacks (and intolerance of opposition to Islam) as far away as Australia.
There was nothing special about former Prime Minister Blair – he was just part of the “international community”, the establishment – the “educated” people, who follow the fads and fashions – whether it be that Carbon Dioxide is evil, or Islam good.
Has former Prime Minister Blair really changed? Does he now understand that there is something fundamentally hostile about Islam – its basic texts and the deeds (the example set), by its founder Muhammed?
I doubt it – I suspect that former Prime Minister Blair holds that the problem is the “misinterpretation” of Islam – that the problem is something called “Islamism”.
In which case his words are without value.
If you start paying the Blairgeld you’ll never be free of the Blair.
