I’ve been there a few times. Most of the fighters are kept inside the hangar, the bombers are outdoors. With Hurricane Ike, it really didn’t matter- most of the aircraft have probably sustained major damage.
I’ll be surprised if their B-17 and B-24 ever fly again.

Fortunatealy they were out of harm’s way:
Prior to IKE’s arrival pilots were able to fly the following aircraft out of harm’s way/ B-17, B-25, DC-3,P-47, F6F, F4U, SBD, PT-17, T-6 and the F8F.
