New shuttle landing photo release

This just in! Our ever vigilant illuminati underground has just uncovered the little known fact Adnan Hajj photographed early shuttle flights. As a Samizdata exclusive we have this spectacular shuttle landing photograph.

Ms. Ima Fake, a senior Reuters representive, has assured us this photo is absolutely genuine.

  • How the pilots manage to contain all that thrust upon landing is a testament to their skill. Was Mr Hajj behind the lens of the camera that took a photo of the shuttle taxiing off the runway, up up up and away?

Having cast an expert eye over the snap, it seems to me to be clearly nothing less than a wholly disproportionate rocket attack on the Kennedy Space Center by an Israeli jet, probably as a result of the similarity of the craft’s fuel pods to a cluster of minarets.

Lucky Lucky, you’re dead wrong. A close inspection of my linked page in the post above will show you that in a mosque attack situation the minarets are always above the cupola, this Reuters image is quite the reverse.
My preferred alternative theory is that, (using my newfound Reuters’ inspired interpretation skills of Arab-supplied pictures) the smoke could quite easily be another one of those pesky Israeli suicide bombers attacking downtown Beirut.

Mr Ali Oops wishes to be known in future as Mr Ali Down.

I think it’s fitting that Ms. Ima Fake is a senior representative at Reuters.

  • Landing the way God and Robert Heinlein intended!
