I’ve said this before but I repeat it: I can’t see this shower seeing out its full parliamentary term.

Meanwhile, the economy looks to be deteriorating. I mean, even a Labour-voting ex-footballer such as Gary Neville isn’t a happy bunny!

The October Budget statement will require added popcorn 🍿

I would suggest that a government that censors criticism of its policies isn’t fit for office. Do we actually have procedures for having an unfit government removed?

    Stony

    Labour has:-

A minimum 146 seat majority, in reality far more unless you believe the Libs, SNP, Greens, Shinners etc are going to side with the Conservatives,

A similar situation in the Lords not that they matter nowadays except when it suits the uniparty.

The support of a secretive and unaccountable civil service that determines nearly all governmental policy (or makes damned sure that anything it doesn’t approve of is never effectively enacted),

The support of a partisan Juduciary headed by a Supreme Court that does whatever it likes irrespective of parliament,

The support of politicised and selective law enforcement which has more and more of the country on the defensive – with good reason.

The support of a woke military, admittedly not much of a factor.

The support of an increasingly irrelevant legacy media headed by the quisling BBC

The support of the Church of England or at least those who sadly are empowered to represent and lead it.

    and

The support of the wettest constitutional monarch in centuries.

So exactly how are Labour going to be removed?

  • So exactly how are Labour going to be removed?

They aren’t going to be removed for all the reasons you state. The *only* chance is if the new Jezbollah Communist-Islamist Party splits Labour so badly they explode, but otherwise, nothing changes until 2029. And I would not put it past the blob to simply ban Reform, which will be the 1642 moment.

For Charles I, only one axe was needed…you’re going to need a lot more axes this time around!

And this time around the other side is the only one with guns.

So, what exactly will the “1642 moment” arising from a ban on Reform look like?

Unless you know a few folk out in the country, like this guy.

    Rioting or revolution.

@Greg: “There are going to be a lot of people first against the wall, aren’t there, Wolfie?” “Yeah: I’m using Hadrian’s Wall!” – from Citizen Smith almost fifty years ago.

Back when the BBC used to take the piss out of left wing revolutionaries instead of employing them.
