We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.

Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

Samizdata quote of the day – Jezbollah Party wants to take over the whole UK

We must take over the whole of Birmingham, the whole of the West Midlands, the whole of the UK… we will not be taken for granted, and we will win.

Iqbal Mohamed MP, Jezbollah Party er, I mean “Your Party”

I think the Greens already have their vote. One can but hope jezbollah, greens and Labour all split the lefty vote and admit a landslide for the sensibles in 2029. (Fuck do we really have to wait until then to be rid of this bunch of cunts 😭).

Assuming that y’all do in fact have real elections in 2029, I would not be surprised if all those Leftist/Foreign parties you named came together if Labour doesn’t have the ability to hold on electorally. I don’t see them as opponents to each other, but rather as allies. YMMV.

Being optimistic I can hope that the leftists, greens and religious factions tend to be ‘splitters’ rather than ‘joiners’. So collectively they might vomit up some extreme governmental diktats – but they would soon fall apart.

They likely will take over, and win, and they’ll do it thanks to the proud and loud support of liberal women, who will then happily wear face covers and proclaim freedom from the sexist patriarchal gaze.

Who knew that this is where the new feminized society was taking us?

Shouldn’t someone tell them that abortion is prohibited under Islam?

I was thinking about this with our American equivalent Mamdami, but the same applies to Britain’s crazies. The joining together of Islam and liberalism is as weird a marriage as Gays for Gaza. They have almost nothing in common. Islam is socially a deeply conservative religion. I suppose the only thing they have in common is their mutual hatred for the west and all its values, and maybe that is enough, but it sure does seem like a powderkeg. I mean what is their position on transitioning children? What is their position on freedom of religion? What is their position on DEI or marijuana or homosexual marriage or about a thousand other issues?

What is the Islamic teaching on wife-beating?

I know what it is, but do those liberal women know?

To be fair, it is not permissible to give your wife a slap until you have spoken to her first. So that’s all right then. (For the avoidance of doubt; no, it is not all right.)

I think Patrick is correct – some (some) followers of Islam have moved from Labour to the Green Party.

This is not just because of the colour Green being also the colour of Islam – the Greens (including under their new “Jewish” leader) have made an active effort to gain Islamic support – by denouncing Israel (which they started doing before the bodies of Jews, and others, murdered on October 7th, were even cold).

“But how do they reconcile their support for homosexuality and feminism, with their support for Islam” – leftists (such as “Greens”) do not logically reconcile anything – they reject reason, that is why they are leftists. If it is pointed out that Islam punishes homosexual acts with death (“kill the one who does it, and kill the one to whom it is done”) and rejects “the rights of women”, leftists will just scream “Islamophobe! Hatred of Muslims!”.

As for the General Election of 2029 – how much of Britain will be left by then?

A dark joke from the Middle East=
    Q. What do you say to a woman with two black eyes?
    A. What more is there to say? You’ve already spoken to her twice!

The war in Gaza was a holy war between Zionism and Jihad, the difference is that Zionism stops at the borders of Israel whereas Jihad will be coming your way soon, if not already.
