One parrots statements from yet another Hamas run organisation, the other is by Jeremy Bowen – but I repeat myself.
Then explain why the various MSM outlets retracted the stories
nico jalapeon – Bari Weiss is, I believe, a lady of the moderate left (a Democrat) who was in the mainstream media for most of her life, before the lady resigned because of its extreme bias – why would you be “skeptical” when the film points out obvious lies by the media?

It is very depressing – on almost all English language Western television stations (not quite all – but almost all) there is the most extreme, and vicious, anti Jewish propaganda. The lies of terrorist groups, such as Hamas, are presented as the truth – by “journalists” who must know, by now, that they are pushing lies – indeed extreme, wild, lies. Just as the education systems of these countries now do – schools and universities also push these wild lies (to an extreme degree).
On this subject, the Jewish Question (as it used to be called), there is no difference between Western stations such as the BBC, Sky News, France 24 (and so on) and Mr Putin’s “RT”.
I really mean that – the Western stations are, on the this matter, just as bad as RT. And so is the education system of these countries – the lies the schools and universities teach.
Demography may well be at the heart of this – in both Russia and Western nations there are, now, relatively few Jews – whereas there is (again in both) an increasing population of followers of Islam.
So the former (the Jews) are being thrown under the bus to appease the latter (the followers of Islam).
Leaving aside the morality of this tactic (pushing lies about the Jews – in order to please another, and growing, population group) it-will-not-work.
Even if every last Jew in Western nations was killed – it would NOT satisfy the population group the Western (and Russian) establishment are trying to satisfy.
The atheists and nominal Christians of both the West and Russia are, I suspect, going to find this out the hard way.
An obvious example of the brainwashed (indoctrinated) Westerner is the Swedish young lady (22 years of age now – an adult) – Greta Thunberg, who has gone from pushing fantasies about how Carbon Dioxide will destroy the world, to pushing fantasies about how the supposedly evil Jews are committing “genocide” (yes – she uses the word and without irony, as if a few million Jews are going to commit “genocide” on over a BILLION followers of Islam).
And indeed if Greta Thunberg went for a walk in certain areas of her native Sweden, or many other Western nations, she might be in danger – but NOT from Jews.
Perhaps a way of dealing with a possible real danger is to make up a phony danger, Jews – who, in reality, would NOT rape and kill Greta.
On Friday I heard, presented as fact, on BBC radio that an Israeli tank had fired on a crowd of civilians queuing for food, killing over 30.
That immediately did not sound right. Why would an Israeli tank fire on a food queue? What would be the military advantage?
It turns out the BBC was a bit more gullible. They reported as fact something which did not happen. But it did serve to blacken the name of Israel. For that reason, they reported it as true because they wanted it to be true. That is how far they have fallen. They might as well make Jeremy Bowen the Director General and be done with any pretence of objective journalism.

It can be watched via Rumble – but I check it (not every day – but most days) so there is no need for you to spend time checking what propaganda it is pushing.

I have a lot of time for Bari Weiss. Yes, she is of the left. But she’s not of the crazy progressive left. She is willing to talk to conservatives calmly and rationally. She is interested in discussing issues with them. In fact, the reason she left the New York Times is that she commissioned an op-ed piece from Sen. Tom Cotton, wherein he called for sending in the (National Guard? US Army?) to quell the Black Lives Matter riots. For that, she suffered incredible abuse from her fellow NYT journalismers.
Her podcast, Honestly, is almost always worth the listen. Interesting guests, thoughtful discussions and impressively high production values.

Are you sure about that? I thought it was just common or garden NYT anti-semitism that caused her to leave – she suddenly woke up and smelt the coffee that they genuinely hated her simply because she is jewish.
She mentions him in her resignation letter but only as a comparator to the sort of crap NYT is quite happy to publish.

The story she told at the time, across several interviews, was that the Cotton op-ed was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. After it, NYT’s internal messaging system (Slack?) was filled the most vile abuse from her colleagues, both aimed directly at her and about her. She was somehow simultaneously both a Nazi for having commissioned the op-ed and a filthy Jew. It was so bad that remaining at the NYT was untenable.

“Honestly” is usually interesting and they try really hard to reach across the divide – and blimey there’s a divide. But… she can miss the mark. She’s had a couple of episodes recently – founder of Axios and JAke Tapper flogging his execrable book – where she has completely missed the mark – no hard questioning at all. Tapper pretending he didn’t know that Biden was ga-ga and that he is doing a brave exposé is dreadful. She – rightfully – got a pasting in the comments.
Weiss is refreshing. She’s surely not “on our side”, and yet she reports and analyzes as if she believes we have something to say. Rare, that.

Yes, I listened to her interview with Tapper and Thompson. I don’t condemn her for asking softball questions. In fact, I rather prefer hosts who give their interviewees room to breathe* and leave it to us to form our own opinions over those journalismers who see see themselves as valiant and thrusting warriors for the truth.
Much as I love Megyn Kelly, her interview with the duo was an absolute train wreck. Seemingly seeing herself as one of those warriors, she couldn’t shut up long enough to let Tapper answer a question. Constant interruptions, talking over her guests, etc. And Kelly and Tapper are apparently friends. Go figure.
* see Joe Rogan. No one can read a room as well as he can. Sometimes he engages in a dialogue with his guests, and sometimes he just presses the Record button, sits back, and lets his guest go**. He’s arguably the greatest interviewer of my lifetime.

Indeed, as the Covid lockdown showed and immigration policy is showing, there is far LESS dissent from establishment insanity in the United Kingdom than there is in Greta’s native Sweden.
I agree with Mr Ed that Sweden, in spite of its great problems, is likely to survive.
Sadly the United Kingdom, although it has many good people in it – much of the good in British society still very much exists, is NOT likely to survive.
The establishment is just too united (united in its false ideas and false principles) and too powerful here.
The thing that is truly sickening about St Greta is the pictures of her on the boat. She’s wearing a keffiyeh (obviously) and holding a Palestinian flag and wearing quite short shorts (of the the sort that would be seen as revealing “uncovered meat” in Gaza). She’s not a looker (the legs were about average but that doesn’t even make her close to a BOBFOC) but she was kinda trying (many would say she is essentially very “trying”) which underlines this was just her latest publicity stunt. It’s not about the climate, it’s not about starving babies in Gaza it is always about Greta. She masquerades as being deeply concerned about global issues but she’s only really concerned about herself. She has no discernable skill, talent, or looks but she can be “controversial” for the sheer Hell of it.
Why did the IDF intercept her boat? It would have had nothing to do with her thimble-full of “aid” and bath-full of self-righteousness. It is because she was entering a very active warzone and if she’d come to harm…
Anyway. Owen Jones of the Guardian praised her “courage” and that is all we need to know about this absurd selfie expedition.

The worst media stuff at the moment is regarding the rioting in Los Angeles. Pretty much openly defending rioting by a bunch of invaders openly flying flags of Mexico while the press cretins claim they are just as American as anyone else. Press are blaming Trump for the rioting and violence, effectively defending criminal behaviour. Utterly cretinous.

Martin – the only good thing is that now, unlike the 1960s (where people like Walter Cronkite were widely respected – as most people did not know such figures had a deeply Collectivist agenda), most Americans now know that the “mainstream” media are serial liars, and have nothing but hatred and contempt for ordinary people.
Meanwhile in South Korea – the new government is already acting like a puppet, both of North Korea and of the People’s Republic of China.
Predictable – but still depressing. Let us hope it is just “like” a puppet, i.e. an Appeasement policy, rather than the new government of South Korea being an actual puppet of the People’s Republic of China (which some people fear is the case).
