Never found out if it was true that Stella McCartney once supposedly bribed Kate Moss to strike a Swan Vesta match (a British non-safety match) on Heather’s wooden leg at a fashion event. I did hear that it was certainly true that at one of Stella’s fashion showings, where her father and Heather turned up unexpectedly, Stella asked the DJ to change the music to ‘Footloose’, not ‘Wide-eyed and Legless’ as was reported at the time.
