We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

Samizdata quote of the day – the pay gap that isn’t If wimmins are currently underpaid in our capitalist bastardy patriarchalist society then it must be possible, today, to deliberately and specifically hire women and make a fortune.
So, is it? Anyone at all got any idea of where we might do that? Which sector etc? Anyone able to see anyone doing that?
Ah, then wimmins is not underpaid in our patriarchalist society of capitalist bastardry, are they? Because if they were the capitalist bastards would be doing a Dame Stevie.
Logic’s a lovely thing, no? So’s evidence….

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

For the same job there is no “gender pay gap”.
“But women are discriminated against for high paid jobs” – no they are not, if anything the discrimination is the other way round, men are discriminated against – but still wide up “on average” earning a bit more, over their lifetimes (partly due to biology – many women, rightly, want to have children and be with these children in their formative years).
It is much the same with “racial income gaps” – supposedly black people “on average” earned less than white people because of discrimination – so such things as the 1964 Civil Rights Act were passed, and indeed there was, for 60 years, discrimination against white people (especially white men) under the name of “Affirmative Action” – but the “racial income gap” remained – not only with white people, but also with Asian people – immigrants who were often not liked or treated well, and sometimes arrived in the United States without speaking English – yet ended up earning not just more “on average” than black people, but earning more “on average” than white people as well.
Blaming “discrimination” for lower lifetime incomes, of either women or black people, in the United States or the United Kingdom (or other nations) is clearly a false theory.
A false theory upon which a giant “anti discrimination” industry has been built.
