Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

A story that checks all the boxes

Whilst it is fun to laugh at the French, in the interest of fair and balanced commentary I should add that this civil servant would find numerous employment opportunities in any of the world’s government sectors.

Positively overqualified in the IQ sector to be a parking/smoking/social behaviour/dog warden in the UK. Reminds me of the brilliant Homer Simpson MRI scan.

Vraiment, pour quoi est-ce drôle se moquer du Français?

Actually this gentleman would be a much better person to have in government service than someone with an I.Q. over 75.

Someone with a high (or even normal) I.Q. will be able to think up a lot of new schemes and convince people of their utility.

  • He did ok – He managed to learn to speak fluent French after all 😉

Actually all this was covered about twenty years ago when it was found that several such people had obtained degrees in mathematics; yes maths not sociology!
