As a followerof Kling's writings at L.F.and elsewhere, why does he use the term "populist" which has a particular connotation in the U S political context?
What we are seeing in the hustings is something more "profound."
But, I will ask Kling on his site.
I don't know that populist neccesarily has the same connotation as Populist any more then libertarian and Libertarian do, especially in this case.
Just wait until the 2010 Congressional elections, if you want to see real "populism"...
