Michael, you have a better chance of finding cricket coverage in the United States than in France.

Good luck.

Also, if your wanderings ever take you over to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, please take me up on my blanket invitation to all Samizdatians to come and visit, and shoot a few guns.

The Cricketer Pub on rue des Mathurins, shows cricket - as one would expect. But when I was there a couple of weeks ago it didn't open until 5pm on weekdays. I recall though from a previous trip when there was a major sporting event they opened earlier. I think England v Australia would qualify.

Even Canadian bars like The Moose just off Blvd. Saint Michel will show cricket if you ask as long as it doesn't conflict with NCAA or soccer.

Not really a cricket nation, my Singapore.

Anyway, if you're up to it, you can contact me. Not many samizdatistas in Singapore(I think I'm the only one), but one can hope. ^_^

I'll treat you to the best crab restaurant on the island.

I would recommend the Frog & the Princess on Rue Princess. They show sports and I am sure they will show the cricket world cup. There is a Frog & le Rossbief as well.

I spent a month in Paris, much of my time in one of those two pubs.

I recommend their beer called Inseine.
