James Delingpole delivers the goods on the latest blow against AGW alarmism. It has come from Russia. The story is not quite so "John Le Carre" as the theory put up recently by Sean Gabb, however.
Happy Christmas!

Entertaining. There has long been a suspicion that old Siberian winter temperature data were too low. Those temperature data came from Czarist & then Communist prison camps. Those camps may all have had thermometers from the same miscalibrated batch. Or camp officials could have got into the habit of exaggerating how cold the winters were, to support claims for more supplies.
But here the Russians are saying that the IPCC in-crowd have simply been cherry-picking the data that suits them -- Again!
Of course, the serious part about this is that the Hadley Center is on the other side of England from the University of East Anglia. So-called scientists in two separate locations both fudging historic temperature data? Now that demands a real investigation.
