Common sense of course and that she had to even say this is an indication of the extent to which civil society has decayed. Violent art forms are as old as art itself.
Resident Evil's plot was both simple and perfectly coherent, quite like an ancient Greek epic. A demi-goddess like hero in a fight for survival, with betrayal and revenge thrown in as spice.

See, even Hollywood actors can get things right, on rare occasions. I wonder how "Arnie's Big Adventure" is going? He pretends to be a hollywood actor who impersonates the Governor of the State! I hear he's hilarious!

I never understood why the evil corporation behind XYZ ever made any money - it just seemed to waste endless amounts of cash on underground bunkers and destroying cities (indeed a city it actually owned).
Perhaps the company just survived on endless bailouts - perhaps the real name of the company was "General Electric" (after all that is the only company in the world that is in all the fields that the "Racoon Corporation" was supposed to be in).
Attractive actress though.

I am sure the Racoon Corporation must have been funded by some government black program, as you say, underground cities don't come cheap.
Great pic of Miss Jovovich, though I doubt the stockings & suspenders with kukhris look will catch on with the Brigade of Gurkhas. Hope not, anyway.

Before the Captain Pedants stike - yes it was the "Umbrella" Coporation (I prefer "Racoon Corporation" and it was Racoon City).
I still think the real name was "General Electric" - I heard one of their high ups on BBC radio a few days ago.
Other companies have to deal with people (nasty, smelly things), but G.E. was fortunate to be a "partner of governments" and (yes) was involved in "building cities" - "we will design all aspect of these cities - transportation, electrical smart grid, internet control....."
As I say - the man spoke quite openly and the other guests thought he was cool.
I thought the left were supposed to be anti corporate.
