A blog for people with a critically rational individualist perspective. We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.

The Al Qaeda diary
Dale Amon (Belfast, Northern Ireland/Laramie, Wy)  Middle East & Islamic

You have heard about the captured 'Diary of a Despondent Al Qaeda' but have you had a chance to actually read the whole thing?

I also recommend you download this DOD Blogger Press Conference Audio which includes well known war bloggers such as Austin Bey talking to USAF Col. Donald Bacon, live from Iraq.

Enjoy!

Reading those links made me laugh to tears. Thank you very much !

It's great to learn that AQI has the same issues with the locals and 'trust' as we do; it's way too easy to assume that AQI has it easy with the Iraqis they have to deal with.

Has Speaker Pelosi here in the US read this, yet?

That AQI diary reads like the minutes of a Respect meeting, held in a broom cupboard somewhere in Tower Hamlets.

"What's the fizz homeslice?" the whole thing is priceless. Will be bookmarking all of them as well as IowaHawk from now on.
