The jewel in the crown of Samizdata.net
A blog for people with a critically rational individualist perspective. We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.

"Its Inner Nature", from "Matters of State, Prejudices: Third Series", 1922, pp. 289-92. First printed in the Smart Set, December, 1919, pp. 71-71.

Included in "The Mencken Crestomathy" at pp. 145-146.

"All government is, in its essence, a conspiracy against the superior man..."

The "Crestomathy" is indispensable.
