Motoring eye-candy
Johnathan Pearce (London)  Transport

I am just about to go out to nail some final Christmas shopping but if anyone is feeling all warm and generous, they can always buy me one of these. I promise I will send a very fulsome thankyou card.

"Stunning" does not even come close to describing how magnificent the new Aston Martin is. No wonder the makers of the Bond movies keep going back to the marque. Isn't rampant capitalism just great?

Comments

Johnathan, if you were to look at the pics on my computer, apart from sailing craft you'd see phto after photo after photo of the Aston Martin, from all angles. Much, much more than eye-candy - it's the triumph of human ingenuity.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Nick M, indeed. One thing I have noticed since getting married is how organised my life now is. (Organised by the missus, that is).

Mine and I have an arrangement. I make the big decisions and she makes the minor ones. It works out well. We haven't faced a major decision in five years.

YADATROT: What kinds of vehicles to get must be minor. If they were big decisions, we'd have at least looked at the Aston-Martins, instead of having two Toyotas and one mountain bike between us.
