Reporters without Borders has produced a useful handbook for blogging in an unfree environment. We will be adding a sidebar link to this useful resource which has some technical tips that may be of interest to people in places where Big Brother tries to controls everything you read.
It can be purchased or downloaded for free from here.

Interestingly, this publication was part-funded by the French government.

Yes, and their real title is Reporters sans Frontieres.
Screams of rage from the French-haters.

Screams of rage? Not at all. After all France is nominally a capatalist democracy - plus their food is wonderful. It is simply the heavy socialistic nature of French government and presumably French public opinion that I don't like.

With the current direction of New Labour I wonder if we will be needing to use it's advise in Britain sooner rather than later.
