There may be a suit against the Feds over the use of Federal funds for electioneering purposes at the State level.

Wouldn't it be lovely (cough) to see those Statist turkeys behind bars? (pass that over to me again would you?....)

My government is incredibly stupid. I can score weed anytime and almost anywhere...have for decades when I want it. So we're not talking about something new.

The economic truth: there is a "welfare cost" of prohibition that drives the price up. Consumer behavior facing the welfare cost of prohibition or a tax is the same.

Imagine the revenue that would be generated by saving the funds expended on the silly war against cannabis and imposing a tax equal to the welfare cost!

Since cannabis is a simple tap-rooted plant like cotton and easy to grow, the cost of production under legalization would hardly exceed the cost of good quality cotton...say 60 US cents per pound. Compare that with the market price now (of Mexican shit weed) at $80 per ounce. The difference is foregone tax revenue. Add in the cost of the war on weed and the numbers boggle the mind.

but i bet most europeans could identify their own country on a map, unlike 11% of sceptic tanks. illinois= capital des moines, this is too easy.

however bad "europeans" at geography, no-one can match the sceptics: 11% couldn't find their own country on a map, never mind the last place they invaded. as for illinois, it's capital is des moines isn't it? this is just too easy
