Samizdata quote of the day
Natalie Solent (Essex)  Slogans/quotations

"They won’t publish cartoons, but they will run anything they can get out of Abu Ghraib. Both sets of images provoke Islamic anger; note how the media behaves when that anger is directed at them."

- Tim Blair, referring to the Australian media - although the same could be said of the British, in contrast to those papers in Europe that have showed solidarity with their Danish colleagues.

Comments

Yes, this may be Jyllands-Posten's finest hour and the same can be said of all those other newspapers who came to their defence... but as for the others:

And gentlemen in England now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Another good quote from Laban: "Which is the second strange thing. Because, as we're always being told, the death penalty isn't a deterrent. And the people who tell us that are the same people who are keeping their heads down now. "

The media is ignoring the truth in hopes it will all "go away".

Then they can go back to claiming Bush is Hitler.

Islam=hate, violence, and intolerance. Islam is a political system that has merged rule with religion. It needs to be treated like naziism - banned, its members deported. Islam cannot ever co-exist with a secular democracy - as we are finding out in all the countries where it has been tried and flaunted.

1.3billion muslims. If the "majority" are "moderate" like our fantasy-media proclaims, then there should be 10s of 1000s of news stories about marches, protests, interviews, etc with muslims pissed that their "noble religion" has been "hijacked" by a "radical few" who are murdering innocent infidel children.

But there isn't. Only in the West do we believe this fantasy of "moderate" Islam.

A nice quote:

All great truths begin as blasphemies.
- George Bernard Shaw

What I said was all blasphemous, was it not? Or so I have been ridiculed for the last several months on many sites by leftists and conservatives...

The MSM Media Idiots will even gin up a completely false story about Korans being flushed down a toilet at Guantanamo. The resulting rioting among practitioners of the "Religion of Peace" caused several innocent "infidels" to be murdered.

For chrissakes is the West turning into a rabble of eunuchs which will allow Islam to piss on its collective leg and then squeak, "Oh, itis raining," in order not to offend a Muslim? Enough Multi-Culti crap. Boot the Islamonazis out of Europe and America. Leave those who respect OUR culture, obey OUR laws, and assimilate out of the argument and respect them.

Tim Blair is a soldier for freedom upon this earth, right up with Mark Steyn, and he can even be as howlingly funny.

May God keep him healthy.

(And note how powerful and how funny these two people are in this struggle. Worth a thought or two.)
