Interested in a New York Geek Dinner?
Perry de Havilland (London)  Events

Samizdata editor Adriana is going to be in New York and is looking for hook up with some of the Big Apple's blognoscenti for a 'geek dinner' along the lines of previous successful geekfests.

Does that sound interesting to you? Well then take a look at this wiki which has just been set up and invite yourself!

Comments

Definition of "geek" and "geek dinner", please, for someone who doesn't get around much, let alone as far as New York or even London.

I've followed the links; sounds fun, but long list of persons and things still doesn't help.

Venue: someone's house?

Then - who tidies up?

Whoever owns the restaurant?

Too bad she wasn't coming to Dallas...

Next time, Adriana.

Oh, and at first I thought you said GREEK dinner, which made me think of our favorite in the world, Kolossi in Finsbury, London.

Still waiting for a definition before this falls off the blog.

But perhaps it's known only to adepts and initiates with the hoi polloi kept out.

I don't know either, but gosh it's refreshing to see hoi polloi used correctly.
