Are we to presume, then, that a certain Hippo is in poor spirits this yuletide season?

May his Grey-And-Prone-To-Stampeding-ness know that a certain fish product has been obtained in advance (in large quanity) and that it will be combined once more with a certain milk product and a certain (chilled) alcoholic beverage of renown. This combination seemed to cheer the Hippo last time and it's procurer hopes that it will have the same effect once more.

If all else fails, I could just - you know - tap dance or something to make you grin. But I'd go with the fish, if I were you :)

Since hippos are the #1 animal in terms of killing humans in Africa (at least among vertebrates), I suspect people appreciate the warning.

Hippos are savage beasts that eat people.

Ummmmm... people. Anyway, we don't eat people, we just chew on them and then spit 'em out.

Where on earth are these 92 KM of watery desert, where these three animals are wild? or at least free?

Having hit a young deer at 75 mph in a car and survived quite handily (although my car did not), I would certainly appreciate such a warning.
