this may or may not be overlooked, but I think this site is first class. One of the best primary sources of information on the reality of Iraq. Dip into this occasionally and you'll have more than a few reasons to guffaw when the BBC gives it to you straight ... ish.

I very fond of the comment that stated that Christian fundamentalism was not very different from Muslim or Jewish fundamentalism. I beleive it was National Geographic ran an article on that theme titled "Children of Abraham" I'll try to find a link to it.
