Judith Resnick after working out had the same heartbeat as before working out.

She was a scary (in a good way) woman.

Judy was one year ahead of me at CMU in the EE Department and we had the same advisor. Of all the accidents, Challenger hit me the hardest because I had many personal connections with people involved in the flight.

I've even heard the first sounds from the family in the stands when the realization hit them. One of our chapter members was there. That is a tape that, if it still exists, will not be played again for 50 years.

Challenger was like a death in the immediate family for me.
