And a happy new year 2004 to you all too.

Hope you had fun.

I was stood snuggleing on a cold windy deserted beach with the tide way out watching fireworks going off all over from Selsey to Littlehampton. No pubs, no crowds and not much warmth either! Just the way I like it, I wonder whether Stephen Pollard would approve?

Happy New Year to our gracious hosts on this site, and happy jousting during the year ahead.

Hey, Razib, no blonds either!

And now for some good news...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3360765.stm

"A proposal to allow homeowners to use "any means" to defend their homes, has topped a BBC poll on the bill people would most like to see become law."

Happy New Year folks. Looks like you're having fun and that is and that's half the battle won.

Posted by wretchard at January 1, 2004 12:20 PM

Ugh. I'm slightly the worse for wear for all that. Going to the pub before I went to the party was perhaps not especially wise.

Happy New Year everyone.

I see David Carr doesn't let a small thing like having his photo taken stop him from stuffing his face. :)

Happy New Year, guys! What I want to know is, who snogged who at midnight?

Posted by Jackie D at January 1, 2004 02:18 PM

Julian Morrison - Yes, but respondents smartly snapped back to BBC fascist mode when the next largest percentage wanted "the state" to have the right to plunder your organs without your permission after you're dead. (Or almost dead, as I detect a sneaky intention to move the goalposts.)

Its also a collection of all the people I know in London who don't have the bloody flu. Lets hope by sticking together none of them get it. I wasn't able to go out, because I trying to kick this damn thing. Wonderful to end a really miserable Christmas season...

Lets hope 2004 will be a far better year for all.

I see four of my old friends from my London days in those pictures! Happy New Year to all of you.

That's weird... Samizdata's comment posting software posted Packing.org's page as the link tied to my name. It's not; http://www.survivalarts.com/ is my site. Hope this post corrects that weirdism.

Please post more pics of your dinner partyl... especially if Adrianna is in them. ;)

Happy 2004 to my fellow Samizdata bloggers and our ever-expanding readership. Nice party.
