The jewel in the crown of Samizdata.net
A blog for people with a critically rational individualist perspective. We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.

So while the war in Iraq might only be beginning, the pundits of the Blogosphere can already register a victory. It’s a bloggers’ world. We only link to it.

Are we really so influential? No self-deception going on here?

Sure. Blogs are very influential in the blogosphere. ;)

This was a quote by a MSNBC journalist, not a blogger. How can that be "self-delusion"? Have you read the article?...

Very true... and this esteemed (or maybe just steamed) blog even got a mention! When MSNBC folks (and Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Washington Post etc.) start noticing, it is fair to say blogs are no longer the resented 'immigrant generation' but actually starting to be accepted as a 'fact of life'. I just hope in the process that pundit blogs like this and others do not get all 'bland and establishment' when the writers realise that people are actually taking them seriously.
