On February 25, 1836 Samuel Colt patented his revolver. "God made man, Colt made them equal"

Among several versions I have heard my favourite is, "The law didn't make men and women equal. Colonel Colt did."

I was just gonna add, it made women equal too, as physical strength is the only advantage men have over women. Guns equalize that, for those women who know how to use one and are not afraid to.

Gosh, Byron, I think that's what Natalie was referring to. But thanks for explaining it to us in a wordier format.

The Second Amendment Sisters would agree with Colt.
Oh, speaking of Liberty Belles...

The Colt poem goes as follows:
"Be not afraid of any man,
No matter what his size.
When in danger, call on me.
And I will equalize!"

A great day in history for unilateralist cowboys.
