(0)Tonight three North African Muslims were arrested by MI-5 and charged under Section 57 of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, with conspiring to release cyanide gas in the London Underground (the subway train system).
The arrested men were said to belong to an organization that is part of Al Qaeda.
If only the British State would spend a great deal more of its appropriated money on this sort of legitimate operation and building up our highly professional but vastly under-funded military... and spend vastly less time and stolen money distorting our economy, abridging our liberties and generally screwing things up, we would be a great deal safer than we currently are.
They were of no fixed abode and the mechanism of release is not spelled out.
That indicates that they were probably living with supporters or in a mosque. Terrorist cells are not usually tramps.
I wonder if we have two controllers in their mid-thirties planning the operation and some dumb schmuck who opens the canister and martyrs himself.

Query, if like many of the 9-11 terrorists, they were not , in fact, living on the largesse of the State itself-- which would be yet another perverse effect of current priorities.
