We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.

Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

The Israelites still up to their old tricks, I see

Then:

So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.

And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?

David said furthermore, As the Lord liveth, the Lord shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.

The Lord forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the Lord’s anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.

So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the Lord was fallen upon them.

Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:

And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king?

And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord.

This thing is not good that thou hast done. As the Lord liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the Lord’s anointed. And now see where the king’s spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster.

It’s a ‘Shoeish conspiracy’: Twitter mocks British Muslim campaigner after he claims MOSSAD sneaked into his home and stole a single shoe

A British Muslim campaigner faced online ridicule after he claimed ‘Zionists’ had sneaked into his home and stolen a single shoe.

In a public Facebook post, Asghar Bukhari, a founding member of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK, said someone had tried to intimidate him by taking his footwear as he slept.

He wrote: the ‘game was simple – to make me feel vulnerable in my own home’, before adding ‘it is not the first time I have heard this happening’.

And it won’t be the last time, brother. Mossad high command are hopping mad that their agent only got the one shoe.

  • Wouldn’t want to be in that man’s shoes…

So it’s Mossad who are nicking one sock from each pair and leaving wire coat hangers behind. I’ve been blaming the aliens.

  • Natalie Solent (Essex)

Ridiculous paranoia, Kevin B. Everyone knows that socks go off on their own accord to dance in the moonlight and that mysteriously appearing coat hangers are aliens, in pupal form.

  • Chubba

It seems a bit paranoid, but then the man seems like the type who has reason to be, and I wouldnt put it past the ss to intimidate people in that fashion. How he figures the perpetrators thoughts on a Jewish homeland from such activity though is unclear.

The entire object of this shoe stealing exercise, carried out by a crack team of Mossad shoe exfiltrators, was to steal only one shoe.
This places the subject of the operation, Mr. Bukhari, in a state of perpetual doubt as to the location of the missing shoe. The resulting mental stasis enervates Mr. Bukhari, preventing him from planning the next suicide bombing, beheading, or what have you.
Slowly, imperceptibly, Mossad intends to break all of its enemies, one shoe at a time.
    This is pure genius.

  • Hexhamgeezer

Has he checked his foot for the missing shoe yet?

  • Mr Ed

The missing shoe chap in the picture reminds me of someone… Gerry Adams?

Hang on a minute, can we be sure he has both legs? If he’s lost a leg, he might not have lost a shoe at all. Come on Daily Mail, do your research.

Anyway, I hear just as in the RAF they used to ask apprentices to get a bottle of prop wash, Mossad used to ask its new agents to nick both Abu Hamza’s gloves.

The world is increasingly like living in a cartoon drawn by a schizophrenic with really elaborate, full color hallucinations.

  • LOL VR, ain’t that the truth…

  • Laird

Actually, stealing one shoe is pretty much the perfect psyops trick: it really does make the victim “feel vulnerable in his own home”, and it causes everyone else to mock him for his paranoia. I would hope that Mossad is that clever (and that sinister)!

  • Mr Ed

I would hope that Mossad is that clever (and that sinister)!…

and that they have prioritised missions correctly!

I suppose that Occam’s Razor is impermissible to this chap, and he overlooks two possibilities that might be more probable that his proposition:

    1. He mislaid his shoe.

    2. Mossad cut his leg off under general anaesthetic and took his shoe as well to make him think he was an amputee with only one shoe, but he hasn’t noticed that his leg is missing. There are precedents for this.

Yes, Mossad spent a week trying to figure out how to gaslight this guy, and finally they came up with the perfect plan.

Straight out of the Yakuza playbook.

They infiltrate the stronghold, demonstrate the defenders’ inability to resist the infiltration, and leave a sinister message that any time they want – ANY TIME – the other shoe, and his socks are theirs.

And then they proceed to steal the footwear of all his family, down to the n-th degree, rendering them uttersly shoe-less. And finally, they come back for his remaining, fabulous pumps.

  • CaptDMO

The victim’s dog was unavailable for comment at press time…..
See, now, if he was just taking up residence in…say…Pakistan, even fewer “inquiring minds” would think “So what’cha gonna’ do about it you lying bitch?”
He’s metaphorically “throwing a shoe” at you, you media dullards.
Remember: “Social” Justice Warriors ALWAYS lie. I suspect special Sharia Law Social Justice folks have a “special clause” like that built right into their “instruction manual”.
    It’s not a bug….it’s a feature!

  • Nicholas (Self-Sovereignty) Gray

But if Mossad wanted to confuse him, why not steal both shoes, and leave him wondering if he’s simply misplaced them, and his mind must be going, etc…? If you “can’t remember” where you put your shoes, then you can’t be trusted with shoe-bomb devices, can you?

  • Mr Ed

Now if they had replaced both shoes with a slightly smaller but otherwise identical pair, with the right wear on heels, any scuff marks, etc. (this takea a lot of surveillance time, expert photography and perhaps some cobblers, I imagine), then he might have thought that his feet had grown overnight. Imagine the frantic Googling of symptoms, visiting the doctor etc.

So there you go Mossad, a free tip from me for when it’s time to really ramp up the stakes.

And perhaps, someone should tell this chap about the Elves and the Shoemaker.

  • PeterT

This chap clearly hasn’t got a shoe

  • Greytop

If he has put his foot in his mouth at sometime past, he may well have left the shoe in there. Just sayin’

  • I’d wait until the other shoe drops.

  • RogerinKew

One step up from the wife’s one legged lover being responsible for all those missing socks…

  • Phil B

Mossad high command are hopping mad that their agent only got the one shoe.

They won’t be doing half as much hopping as our hapless victim, I can tell you …

  • Natalie Solent (Essex)

    Laird,

“I would hope that Mossad is that clever (and that sinister)!”

    – and that dexterous.
